ANNOUNCEMENT - SLEDDING SLOPES, DRACO MOUNTAIN

Good day to all who visit and reside within JAD Terminal!

It is my absolute pleasure to open two new sledding slopes within Draco Mountain; the prestigious mount towering over our section of the station.

The opening times for sledding are 9am until 6pm, Thursday, Friday, and weekends. The price will be $150 for a day of sledding fun.

Please note that those under 13 years of age cannot ride the sledding slopes.

Opal's Slide
A slope with a gentle average of 30° / 58% grade, with few bumps and turns. Suitable for everyone, this is the slope which is highly encouraged for sledders of all levels.

Dragon's Glide
For advanced sledders, this slope is open for only those who are aged 16 and over, and who are looking for a daring adventure. A slope of 45° / 100% grade average, this is not for the feint of heart.

With that, I invite you to try out your skills on the course! Please remember to purchase your safety equipment, as none shall be provided for you.

We do have one more ski slope, but it is only available by those who have received the Glitch Badge from JAD Terminal's Gym (Leader: Dr. Javan A. Douglas) and who have explicit permission from the leader to use. It's location is kept private to prevent public access.

Shield's Bain
(Dedicated to Bastion and Rin)
Dedicated to the first sledders who used this dangerous slope of 78° - 85° (500% - 1000% grade) average, Shield's Bain is the most exclusive slope and is not available to the public.

(All sledders who take on any sledding activity do so at their own risk. Javasharp is not responsible for any injury, destruction or death occurring from these sledding skills. Please consult your doctor before you sled, especially if you have any pre-existing conditions. By using these slopes, you are acknowledging that you take full responsibility for the actions and forfeiting your right to sue the company should any danger occur (although personal claims may be made towards other sledders if you feel they are at fault. Always consult your legal representative). You must take your own sledding equipment, and those who do not have adequate protective gear may be turned away and a refund may be partial or not issued. You may purchase protective gear at a variety of places around JAD Terminal, to which their own terms and conditions apply.) Anyone who accesses Shield's Bain illegally (without explicit permission and requirements) will be prosecuted for endangerment of themselves and others. All proceeds from the sledding fee goes to the staff and security team and none are claimed by Javasharp's profits.)

This is entirely downtime/RP based. There are no maps.

Total rolls needed to complete the course is 5.

DC checks are Athletics, Acrobatics, or Survival.
Opal's Slide = DC 6
Dragon's Glide = DC 15
Shield's Bain = DC 28

If you fail the DC the following happens.
Opal's Slide = You fall off the sled and skid a little. You may get back on and finish the course, or stop and leave.
Dragon's Glide = You fall off the sled and take half a tick of damage (rounded up). You may finish the course, or stop and leave.
Shield's Bain = You fall off the sled and take two ticks of damage (rounded up). You must finish the course.]
